Role:
Master Instructor, EFR Instructor Trainer, DAN Instructor Trainer
Real Life Job:
I am the Permanency Manager with Adams County Human Services, Children and Family Services Division.
Scuba Diving Path:
I started diving in May of 2001, as a result of my husband telling me I would love it as I am a true ‘water baby’, and he was right as I was hooked. I became a PADI instructor in August of 2002 and a Master Instructor in May of 2009. I have been an EFR Instructor Trainer and a DAN Instructor Trainer since October 2008.
Personal Passions:
I am passionate about spending time with my husband, my family, and close friends; teaching at the University of Phoenix in the Clinical Masters Program; being outdoors and having adventures. I also spend time with my furry 4 legged children, who provide a lot of love and entertainment to me every day.
Non-Diving Activities and Passions:
I love traveling, teaching, constantly learning, just having fun and enjoying life
Favorite quote and words to live by:
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away".
Favorite Dive Location:
I enjoy any trip and destination as it allows me the opportunity to meet other people, experience different cultures, and see another part of this world. I have travelled to Indonesia, Micronesian Islands, Roatan, Bonaire, Philippines, US Virgin Islands, Grand Cayman, Fiji and am eager to continue to expand my horizons!
